By September 15, the Government will approve the draft of the new state budget.
According to Taras Melnychuk, representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, the draft budget for 2024 is expected to be approved by mid-September.
“The security and defense sector will remain our No. 1 priority. Equipment, weapons, drones, missiles, shells – all this is of utmost importance to us. The second focus of the budget is on salaries for doctors, teachers and social benefits. The third priority is reconstruction. It is important for us to continue and complete the reconstruction projects that have already started, as well as to launch new ones,” said Taras Melnychuk.
