1. Collection, use and purpose of processing
The company SOCIAL MARKETING INITIATIVE (hereinafter referred to as “Mass Media”) collects, processes and uses the information you provide in the Registration Form (hereinafter referred to as “Personal Data”) in order to respond to your requests, distribute notifications, thematic and advertising mailings, as well as conducting market research, including statistics and surveys (via mail and/or electronic means of communication) related to the activities and products of the media company.
2. Consent
By signing the form for providing Personal Data along with reading these General Conditions, you expressly consent to:
collection, use, processing and/or transfer of your personal data in accordance with the purpose of collection, use and/or transfer indicated in clause 1 of these General Conditions in the understanding of the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR; Regulation (EU) 2016 /679), as well as national legislation governing the protection of personal data.
You are notified of the inclusion of your personal data in our personal data database and are duly notified of the rights of the subject of personal data (including regarding the collection, processing and/or transfer of your personal data), namely:
· Know about the sources of collection of your personal data from the media;
· You can receive information about the conditions for providing access to your personal data, including about third parties to whom such data is transferred in accordance with current legislation;
· You have the right to access your personal data, subject to compliance with media information security requirements;
· You have the right to receive information upon request about whether your personal data is being processed, as well as information about the content of such personal data;
· The right to demand replacement or destruction of your personal data if it is inaccurate or illegally processed;
· You have the right to protection of your personal data from illegal processing, accidental loss, deletion, damage, in connection with deliberate concealment, failure to provide or untimely provision, as well as protection from the provision of statements that are unreliable and disgrace the honor, dignity and business reputation of an individual faces;
· You have the right to file complaints about incorrect/illegal processing of your personal data in court and apply for legal protection;
· The right to withdraw this Consent;
· The right to become familiar with the mechanism for automatic processing of personal data.
You voluntarily consent to receive advertising and other information, as well as offers from the media and our partners by email, social networks (Viber, Instagram, WatsApp, Facebook etc.) or by phone.
3. Disclosure of data for technical processing
Since the media is part of a group of companies, your personal data may be transferred to one of the media’s partners and may be processed to achieve the purpose indicated in part 1 of these General Rules (including for cross-border transfer of personal data). Data may be transferred to countries with different levels of personal data protection in accordance with the requirements and rules of the Council of Europe Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data.
4. Access to personal data and its security
Access to your personal data will be provided only to authorized employees of the media and partners in accordance with the purpose indicated in part one of the General Rules, as well as to ensure the security and processing of information. Media uses reasonable technical and organizational means to ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal data, and, if necessary, regularly reviews and improves these methods to reflect legislative changes and/or improvements in technical capabilities.
5. Correctness of personal data, changes and withdrawal of Consent
The media does not verify your personal data provided by you to the media and is not responsible for their accuracy to third parties in the event of their lawful transfer. You have the right to access and view your personal data, as well as the opportunity to request their correction, changes to your personal data, their deletion or blocking, as well as depersonalization in accordance with the rights of the Personal Data Subject specified in part two of the data General rules. You, as a personal data subject, may at any time withdraw the Consent to the processing of personal data provided by you under these General Rules.
