Yulia, a business unit manager, volunteered with her husband for 10 days in the Kiev subway feeding people. But when it became dangerous near their home in the Lukyanivka neighborhood, they left for Western Ukraine. When they arrived, they started to ask about the needs of people and realized that they lacked balaclavas, unloads and other things. Now it is very difficult to buy them, so they decided to make them themselves.
We spent 2 days traveling in search of a workshop and found one 50 km away from Ivano-Frankivsk and another small one in the city. So we started our own production.
Yulia and her husband founded a volunteer group “Center-West”. There are 5 people in the group: Yulia, her husband, a couple from Kiev and a girl from Ivano-Frankivsk. “At such times, one wants most of all to be useful for one’s country, for people!”, – says Yulia.
“We’ve set up a charity fund that people who want to can donate to. People are incredible! We started with just our own investments, but now we can do a bit more. Now we are trying to join companies, friends from Europe and the US. We have already received confirmation for 30 military medical kits based on the Israeli model.
