Children’s psyche is very susceptible and the most crucial period in children’s development lasts until about 14 years of age. During this time, it is important to take care of their mental health as it helps children to develop necessary skills, form positive habits for the future and grow up to be healthy individuals. Consequently, taking care of psychological well-being should be as routine as brushing teeth, but specialists in child psychology are often in short supply.
That’s why Estonian technology startup Triumf Health has developed a fun and engaging mobile game called Triumf Hero, which helps children learn to recognize and regulate their emotions, cope with everyday stressors and traumatic events, and better understand themselves and others.
Playing Triumf Hero, children find themselves in the magical world of Triumfland, where they must help the locals. The game’s engaging storyline draws children in, who are encouraged to find their superpowers and realize their full potential. At the same time, they receive evidence-based mental health support.
“Today’s children don’t want to fill out boring diaries given to them by a psychologist. But self-discovery and learning can be fun. That’s exactly what our game offers,” says Triumf Health CEO and Doctor of Psychology Kadri Halias.
Due to the war in Ukraine, Triumf Health has translated its solution into Ukrainian in addition to the previously existing languages: Estonian, Russian, English, Swedish and Finnish, as psychologists believe that the effect of the game will be much stronger if it is in the native language. The game is available for free in Ukraine, download it here: https://www.triumf.health/download-hero.
