What was Dominic Jordan known for in Ukraine?

Dominic Jordan has been the head of FIP since 2018 and has been an unwavering leader and friend of Ukraine until now. In Switzerland, Dominic Jordan headed Pharma Suisse, the Swiss association of pharmacists, and was president of FIP.

In 2019, signed by FIP President Dominique Jordan and FIP Secretary General Mrs. Catherine Duggan, a letter was drafted to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, on the role of pharmacists in the modern healthcare system.

On February 25, 2022, the second day of the Russian attack on Ukraine, Dominic Giordana and Catherine Duggan wrote a letter in support of the Ukrainian people.

FIP is the main sponsor of the charity foundation “All-Ukrainian Chamber of Pharmacy – One European Family”. Thanks to Dominic Jordan’s personal support, the Foundation purchased and delivered modern medical equipment for the needs of Ukrainian medical institutions, which saved the lives of thousands of Ukrainians.

Dominic Jordan passed away on August 19 after a long illness. According to the FIP bylaws, newly elected President Paul Sinclair will now assume the duties of President.

Paul Sinclair is a Sydney native with 40 years of experience. He will be the first Australian president of FIP.
