This solution will not only allow the patient to visit the doctor less often to renew the prescription, but also to more conveniently redeem an e-prescription issued for a course of treatment of up to 90 days.
At the same time, the validity of prescriptions for narcotic drugs remains 10 days, and for drugs subject to reimbursement or dispensed on preferential terms, or extemporaneous drugs – 30 calendar days.
You can still redeem your e-prescription at a pharmacy that works with the electronic healthcare system. You can find a suitable pharmacy by using the dashboard Electronic map of ePrescription drug outlets. To do this, you just need to select the region, type and name of the settlement in which you live. After that, the dashboard will display a map with the markings of available pharmacies, as well as a list of addresses of pharmacies that dispense medicines by e-prescription.
The Ministry of Health warns that no matter how familiar and safe prescription drugs may seem, improper use can lead to serious side effects, addiction, or risk of abuse.
