“Today, the Order of the Ministry of Health “Some issues of formation and issuance of medical reports on temporary disability” is under consideration by the central executive authorities. We expect the approval of this order, and this will be the beginning of the implementation of e-hospitalization, “- added Kucher.
The Deputy Minister also noted that the team of the Ministry of Health and the NHSU is working on the technical aspects of the launch realization. During the last week they updated the data in the context of administrative and territorial units of Ukraine on the state of readiness of the full transition of health care institutions to electronic sick leave and abandonment of paper forms.
“The transition to electronic sick leave is one of the most important areas of health care reform,” Kucher said.
He also asked the heads of local state administrations, central executive authorities, in the sphere of management of which there are health care institutions that carry out examination of temporary incapacity for work, to pay attention to the state of connection of such institutions to the electronic health care system and to ensure connection in the nearest future.
As we wrote, the draft state budget for this year includes about 160 million UAH for the development and support of the electronic health care system.
